The tree problem is so surprise that I think both narrator and Don Anselmo don't beware of this the conflict happen. Don Anselmo didn't tell the author much about the trees problem. In fact, my opinion is Don Anselmo didn't high that on purpose, he just simply didn't tell that. What I think is he was a little bit don't want to reveal this secret because he wanted to sell his house and he might think this is a huge trouble for the customer. In another perspective, the way he talked with the lawyer - author, the way he dressed and how they called him a gentleman, his thought must be archaic because he is the oldest and powerful man in the village. Talking about a village, I always have the thought in my mind that villager don't have much education or knowledge about things. That's why, he didn't tell the writer about the uncertain problem because no one mentioned about that and why did he have to tell things that no one asked or wanted to know. After all, he is an old man and he is pretty slow with also slow mind that doesn't want to change to be more modern. He wanted to keep all the rules and believe in it like a real gentleman.

#8 - It is hard to walk in another person's shoes.
Explanation - Themes are not always show what they mean in an obvious technique. Just like the theme above, it is just simply translate as each people have their own different size of shoes. Not all can fit in a shoe that have the size of number 5. As I go one, I think if this expands more in meaning section, this can also means people are different. We are not all identical, that's why, we can not know everything about one people. In the story, even though, Terry's father has explained what Terry wants to know but he can't really absorb all the fear that his father has had. He is not his father and he didn't attend in Vietnam-America war, he can't view what had happen. This all information point to a spot that this theme is best fit with the story and it is tough to do something that u don't use to or didn't do before - not yourself.

Got-Cha tickets
It's Friday and it means that today, AHS school will have a meeting between teachers, principle, students, .... in school's cafeteria. After a long hour of talking, the principle finally says about something interesting. New rules come up, school theme will change and there is one more thing, seems to be small but that tiny little thing catches everybody minds: "If you do something good, teacher will fill in your name, your class. what you did and where you did it in Got-Cha ticket. Then, you take the ticket to school's office and put your ticket in the Got-Cha ticket box. There will be a tickets result for every week. If we pull out your ticket, you'll be the winner of a surprise present of the week". After the meeting in school's cafeteria, students get back to their class and they start to discuss about Got-Cha tickets. Enahs, Yvi, Enitsuj, Uoz, Xela, Aneles, Nasus, Arolf and Niet are classmates. They play with each other and study with each other. But they all thing about ways to get the Got-Cha tickets. They all want to be the winner of that misery gift and especially, to feel high when the principle announce their name. Popularity, fame, glory are what they want the best.
Enahs is a type of person who always tries to get fame and lives like a king. He always have what he wants so he doesn't respect and try to keep anything. Yvi is a shy girl but sometimes, she gets really hyper and shows who she is, a beast. Enitsuj is a kind of girl who she thinks she is better than everyone. Uoz is a good girl but sometimes she doesn't know how to please others. Xela, a really comfortable boy. He is really open and easy. Aneles really knows how to help people and she is never mad at people or anything. But sometimes, she acts like Uoz. Nasus always underestimate her friend but love strangers for some reason. Always help them. Arolf? A nice young lady with a unreasonable anger sometimes. Niet, I love her. She is a cute little innocence, naive girl.
On the next Monday, Everyone just take the first step to acting. It's show time and they ignore the real person inside them and act like they are good student without any self motivation. Every time anyone need something or drop something, they always be there to help. The group of friends just fighting over each other for that stupid Got-Cha ticket.
On day, seems to be a normal day, "The friends" is studying in Lao Shu Wu class with an electrified atmosphere. Enitsuj takes a few drops of her perfume and spray it on her body. Then, a thing drops, no matter big or small, old or young, fat or thin, they all pushing each other and try to be the first one to pick the whatever thing up. In the class conner, there is a nice little young girl named Niet. The rest of the class may blind of she is not the rest of the class, she sit still and enjoying the play her friends are making. Notices this is a mess, Lao Shu Wu asks them to sit down and gives them a lesson of kindness inside people. Because so many came up, Lao Shu Wu didn't notice that Niet was sitting in the conner of the class, smiling at them.
After the lesson, no one care about the class any more. No more faking attitude. They don't pick up thing or helping others anymore. One afternoon, back to the Chinese class, Lao Shu Wu tricks his students by leaving the board cleaner right next to the trash been, see if there is anyone who notices and picks it up. People and people come but not even a single ghost loves to pick that up. Niet walk into the classroom. Noise and sound keeps filling in her ears. She stops at her desk, putting her bag down and takes a look a round the classroom. No change much except for the board cleaner. She pick that up and suddenly, Lao Shu Wo comes. He gives her a big smile and says: "You make me proud." and gives her a back patch. How surprise, he gives Niet a Got-Cha ticket.
Niet's friends' eyes keep following her. They don't know what to say and start to questioning why. Lao Shu Wu explain for them the right and wrong in this thing and tell them Niet deserves to have a Got-Cha ticket cause this is self motivation. No one told her to do this but she did while none of them doing anything.
Sometimes, things make us blind and temporary forget the good side of a human. But if you can just clam down and thinking deeply, you'll see what you've turn to be and find out the solution for it. Good instinct will guide you through all the trouble.

After the accident, my sister stayed home and got some special treatments. Everyone surrounded her and did what she required. Execpt for the part that she had to use crutches, everything was perfect. Without any pain, to me, she lived like a princess, no, like an queen. Sometimes she complained about her leg. You have to wear some kind of white fluor when you have a broken bone, my sister did too. It made her leg heavier and hard to move. But did I care? No. My vision was all about her treatments. She did not have to do some small houseworks but instead, she could lay down and watch TV. With crutches, she could move everywear she want even the stair. And then, like what you think a ten years old kid would do, yes, I wished that I can be like her. I waited and waited, but it didn’t happened. Time passed, my sitser bone healed and I forgot my wish. I still enjoyed my life without any thuoght about it.
Another year came and I was eleven now. I was on my way returned to my house and I didn’t know what happened but I’m pretty sure that something sharp and hard contacted my toes, the middle and the fourth toes. It was not hurt at all. Even that, I couldn’t feel anything. Is it like magic? No one hurt except for me. And badly, I lost one of my flip-flop. One in a pair, so now, the other is lonely and the missing one, keep missing. My toes just started to bleed and lost all its sence. Then, its skin began to rip off a little bit and a little bit more. Blood spill everywhere on the street. I hated that feeling. It was not hurt at all but I can’t control my toes anymore and I can’t stand blood so it was probably a bad thing for me too keep staring at my bleeding toes. My driver just screamed out like a girl and really worried for me. He started to missunderstand places. He drived me to a place that do beauty surgery. In this sistuation, I really don’t want to laugh but I did but not out loud, in my nind. After a long period of suffering and panic because of him, finally, he drived me home. My sisters and maid continue to panic and screamed. They all asked question like: “What happen?”, “Oh my god, are you alright? Who did this?”, “Your leg is okay?”.There was something wrong and there is somthing in my eyes. My nose began to glow red and hot. And I cried. I cried like I’ve never been crying before and my toes were really hurt and my voice with their scream combined to be a tragic song. After five minutes, people noticed that I should go to the hospital right away. Thanks god, there is a hospital near my house. My uncle’s maid worked there as a guard so she asked the doctors to sew my toes. The emergency room has its special smell. Always the antibiotic smell with some stinking blood smell. People in the other rooms screamed and cried a lot. Through lots of process, They sewed my toes. I have never feel anything that hurt before. I screamed a lot and cried too. But things just happened so fast that I couldn’t even know what is happening. After the sewing process, they did the white flour things to me. It was kind of heavy like my sister described. After got out from the hospital, the thing I want the most is noodle. I really love it taste soup. That night at home, I called my parents because they were at another country as I remembered and told them what happend. My mother had a shock. And in that night, I remembered my childish wish. Gods were really wise to make my dream come true. I think I smiled at myself.
Weekend end, I started another boring Monday at school. People were suprise of my new accessory. It became a new patient style. Now, it was my turn to get special treatments and some special saying. Just the two toes but it had its special heal time. One month. I was in fifth grade during the accident.
The bones are healed but you can still see the scars of sewing on my toes. It even makes my toes look more funny because my feet are in shoes shape, not normal shape.
After what happened, I looked at myself and learned a golden lesson, take what you have. From that day, I think I grew up more and fith grade was a time when I discorverd human characteristic. In sixth grade, I started to be a little more profound. In seventh grade, I had a lot of real-life experience about it. Everytime I do something, I have learned my lesson.

Flowers for Algernon: Answer question 9.
Question 9 (Connect): Re-read the last few lines in Part 1. What do you think about people who dislike others who are different from them?
Answer:
I think people have their own right to think about others. Depend on which person they are thinking about, their perspective may change. Different EI levels, different environment, different education, ..., cost different point of view. To me, I really don't discriminate people. But in somehow, you still feel that they are not worth for you to respect. Trying to keep that thinking away and think in a little bit positive and you'll see they are worth it. People who dislike others who are different from them because they think others are weird. Not being normal, smarter, more stupid, able to do thing that others can't, ... are consider as WEIRD. In Flower for Algernon, Charlie has been fool by his friends. He is too blind to see that people are making jokes of him. With the IQ at 68, he thinks that everyone are good. There is a part in the story that Ms. Kinnian says to Charlie that people are not usually good like what he think they are. By reading Charlie's progress report, Ms. Kinnian finds out that charlie is to poor so she has something in her eyes and runs to the bathroom. I don't think that I'm always right but pretty much of us all, we think that we are right because we do right things most of the time. I might think that it is unfair to treat weird people like Charlie as that way but others might think in the oposite way. And so, there is no right or wrong answer about that. After all, it's just my opinion.
