Answer: If the narrator told this story by the first-person point of view, everything we can visualize is from that first-person point of view observation but we can't know what other people think. If we make this story to a third-person point of view, we may see things differently by knowing other people thoughts. And who knows, maybe we could change our thinking about the "Camp Harmony". Then we should know the true reason why Americans did these cruel stuff to Japanese - Americans.
Yep, Tien. At the first person point of view, readers can throughly understand the feelings of the author(Sone, or thoughts of other Japanese Americans). But in the third-person point of view, readers see more of other's opinions and thoughts(Americans).Great Job!!
